Patrick Atkinson, who is also the executive director of both charities [GCP AND ITEMP], will speak Tuesday and Wednesday about the Institute for Trafficked, Exploited, and Missing Persons and human trafficking at Grace Episcopal Church and University of Jamestown.

He will speak to UJ students about the brand new malnourished children’s hospital that was opened on March 31 at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, at Voorhees Chapel on the UJ’s campus. The event is free to attend and will cover the topic of “Getting under the Belly of the Beast: A Comprehensive Multi-Media Understanding of Human Trafficking in the Modern World.”

The newly constructed hospital can help rehabilitate up to 88 children at once. Most of The GOD’S CHILD Project’s funding over the past year has been dedicated to building the new Casa Jackson Hospital for Malnourished Children after losing its previous facility to a flood in 2014.
